Donuts & Pong

I love the month of March. Peak period at work is coming to an end and I can finally get down to my studies and of course work on a couple of custom orders.

Miniature donuts are fun and easy to make:
1) Roll a small ball of clay (shade of brown)
2) Press it down slightly
3) Roll an even smaller ball of clay (any colour you like!) and press it flat
4) Put it on top of the brown clay and try to "stick" them together. Do it gently!
5) Use a toothpick and poke a hole through the centre
6) You get a mini donut!

This time however, I worked with "liquid" clay to create an icing effect for the topping. Icing goes well with little sprinkles! The end result looks like this. I think I'll use less sprinkles next time.

If you follow the steps above, you would get these colorful glazed donuts. Which style do you prefer?

And meet my girl! Puki Pong from Fairyland. I have yet to name her! I love her happy face. The clothes are from spampy.eaph.com/spampystuff.htm

She is trying to show you her underwear! She's so adorable, just what I need to perk me up when I'm studying! (She is standing in front of my stack of boring actuarial notes). I'll feed her with my mini food soon. :)
